Founded in 1993, Premier Planning Group was built on the belief that financial planning should begin with understanding people, not products. At a time when many large financial firms emphasized product-focused solutions, founders Dave and Frank saw an opportunity to create a different kind of firm; one centered around advocacy, relationships, and truly serving clients’ best interests.

From the beginning, Dave and Frank recognized they shared the same core values, work ethic, and commitment to doing right by others. Much of that foundation was shaped by family values and competitive sports, where trust, accountability, and teamwork were essential. Together, they set out with a simple but meaningful goal: to make a positive and lasting impact on every client and community they serve.

What started as a two-person partnership has grown into a collaborative organization with offices in Phoenixville, Toledo, and Cincinnati, along with five dedicated partners. In 2004, Mike joined the firm, a decision Dave and Frank describe as one of the best they ever made, elevating the organization from the very beginning. Over time, long-standing relationships with fellow advisors and respected peers, including Frank in Cincinnati and Patrick in Toledo, evolved into formal partnerships built on shared values, mentorship, and collaboration.

Today, Premier Planning Group continues to operate with the same philosophy it was founded on over 30 years ago: building trusted relationships, delivering on promises, and striving to make the team indispensable to the clients and communities they serve.
