Frank S. Hennessey, AIF®, ChFC® is co-founder of Premier Planning Group, Inc., a wealth management, and employee benefits firm with offices in Pennsylvania, Cincinnati, and Toledo. He began his career in 1988 with a commitment to providing advice and strategies to business owners, executives, and retirees to help them identify and achieve their financial, lifestyle and legacy goals. Over 35 years later, he maintains his passion to make a positive and lasting impact on the clients he serves. Frank finds it especially rewarding, as well as a tremendous privilege and responsibility, to work with multiple generations of families and businesses.

Frank earned a B.A. degree in Economics and Business Administration from Ursinus College and a Chartered Financial Consultant designation from the American College. He has earned and maintains the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation. He is a Registered Representative with Ameritas Investment Company, LLC., a member of FINRA/SIPC and an Investment Adviser Representative with Ameritas Advisory Services, LLC. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). Over the years and throughout the United States, Frank has lectured extensively to financial advisors and to retirees teaching strategies related to income planning and wealth transfer.

Professionally, Frank has received significant national recognition. He has achieved a lifetime and qualifying membership including Top of the Table status, in the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table. For over 25 years, he has earned the NAIFA Quality Award which recognizes outstanding client service and retention. In 2008 and again in 2023, Frank chaired the Ameritas Field Advisory Cabinet, an elected team of independent advisors who work directly with Ameritas senior management to shape strategies and product development. In 2013, Frank was inducted into the Ameritas Hall of Fame. In 2018, Frank was named recipient of the Lester A. Rosen Humanitarian and Achievement Award for service to his community and profession.

Active in his local community and church, Frank is a recipient of the “Quality of Life” grant from MDRT Foundation for outstanding community service. For 15 years, he coached numerous sports teams for youths between the ages of 6 to 18. From 2004 to 2019, Frank served as board member and treasurer for Plan of PA, a non-profit that provides lifetime care management for intellectually disabled adults. For Ursinus College, he currently serves as the inaugural chair of the Athletic Advisory Committee and on the Advisory Council for the U-Imagine Center of Entrepreneurial Studies. He was an inaugural board member of Holy Family School and remains a strong advocate and supporter of Catholic education. Frank is married and a father of three. He is an avid skier and enjoys travel and golf.
