Frank G. Heitker*

Managing Partner

Frank has 37 years of financial planning experience.  In 1982, he began his career as a tax director for The Ohio Casualty Insurance Company. In 1987, he was hired by The Manhattan Life Insurance Company as their treasurer.  In 1990, Frank joined The Union Central Life Insurance Company and was recognized as their New Agent of the Year.  He is a registered representative with Ameritas Investment Company, LLC, Member FINRA/SIPC and an investment adviser representative with Ameritas Advisory Services, LLC.  In 2001, Frank opened the Cincinnati office of Premier Planning Group.

Frank graduated from Miami University (of Ohio) in 1981 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting.  In 1996, he received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation.  The CLU designation is one of the oldest and most respected credentials in financial services, dating back to the late 1920’s. It represents a thorough understanding of a broad array of personal risk management and the designation stresses ethics, professionalism, and in-depth knowledge in the delivery of financial advice.

Frank understands the everyday challenges that his clients face.  When Frank’s dad, a Cincinnati Police Officer, died suddenly at a young age, Frank sadly received his first lesson in personal risk and life continuation planning.  “Our value proposition at PPG is to make our clients feel safe, secure, organized, confident, and excited about their financial futures—regardless of what might lie ahead.”

Frank lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He is the father of Kati and is “Grampy” to her two children, Hayden and Georgia.  Frank is an enthusiastic golfer, and he loves to travel domestically and internationally.

Involvement & Recognition

Frank is known for giving his time and treasure to a wide range of charitable organizations in the Greater Cincinnati area.  From 2002 to 2011, he served as the Treasurer of the Board of the Children's Dental Care Foundation, a subsidiary of the Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

He is a proud alumnus of the Evans Scholars Program and currently serves as a Director of the Western Golf Association. Frank is also a lifetime member of Kenwood Country Club and has chaired many golf committees within the club’s organization.

Since 1993, he has been a member of the Miami University Alumni Career Network.  From 1996 to 2011, Frank sat on the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra's Planned Giving Committee.  From 1993 to 1996, he served on the Board of Directors for the Cincinnati Association of Life Underwriters, and for eight years, he gave his time as a United Way Account Executive.

In 2010, Frank co-founded the MelanomaGirl Foundation (MelanomaGirl.Org), and he continues to serve as its treasurer.  His late wife, Andrea, was passionate about helping others who had been affected by cancer, and Frank continues to honor Andrea’s noble—but futile—fight to survive melanoma, a form of skin cancer that is highly curable if caught in its early stages.  MelanomaGirl is dedicated to positively promoting melanoma awareness to help others understand the risk of overexposure to the sun.
